Grandmom

We have canceled our trip to the mountains to be with my grandmother. She was in perfect health until this year when she had a stroke. Since then, there has been one complication after another. She currently has a mysterious infection that has caused her kidneys to fail and her pulse to soar. She is pale and on oxygen. So we need to spend what appears to be her last days with her. Please pray for our family. She is a believer, so I am very happy that she will be with Jesus soon. But if she does pass away, the rest of us will miss her so much!

Renee-

We are finally back in the saddle again, so am keeping up with my blogs:) I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I will pray for her this morning as I have my quiet time. And for your family, too. I am so thankful that she is a believer. It is hard, as my family knows, to bury loved ones who are blatantly unbelieving, or just mysterious, and you have no real assurance. I am sad also that you guys are having to post-pone your trip. I am sure you have been needing some down time. I will pray for you specially this week, okay? It's hard being a Mommmy wanting a vacation, and then being thrust into a support role, on top of the fatigue and everything. Thinking about you all....

I prayed for you and for her today.

My first stop by, your blog blessed my heart. The love you have for your family was such so touching. It made me miss the days when my kids were that little.

Blessings, Joanne

I'm praying that it will be a smooth transition from life to life with her.

My grandfather died not this past fall, but the one before. It was very sad, and yet happy at the same time. It's hard to see your parents be so very sad, though... that was the hardest part for me.

Praying for you all -

I am so sorry about your grandmother. And even though it is nothing compared to the possibility of losing her, I am sorry for the loss of a family trip you all have looked so forward to. I will pray for your grandmother and for your family as you are with her during this difficult time.
