New and improved pantry

A couple of years ago I heard a speaker on natural and personal gifts. The topic was light and fun. I learned a lot about myself and what I could contribute to those around me. We took a personality test, which I had never done before. Most people have heard of these tests and can state very matter-of-factly what 4-letter-acronym category they fall under. I am an ENFJ. In a nutshell I am an extroverted-dreamer-feeler-organizer. Today I saw my personality expressed to its fullest. As I was dreaming of our homeschooling classroom next year, connecting every positive feeling to the memories I hope to make, I ran around in my pantry chatting with my best friend on the phone and organizing/labelling like a crazy woman. (Thanks, Kim, for sharing the ideas you found in the article about the organized pantry with me this past weekend. I felt very inspired!)

Why do the pictures below make me giddy? Having a place, a labeled place, for everything makes me so much more at ease. I feel free to dream big and laugh more. Am I crazy?

It looks awesome! Glad I could inspire you! Now, if I just had a pantry to do the same.

Oh yeah, even I could have totally told you the E F and J about you. Were you pretty strong in all of those? The difference (as far as the four letters goes; obviously, not the only difference) between you and me is the J, and dontcha think that shows just a little?! I am laughing typing that! very impressive pantry! although, i can usually manage the spatial organization to some degree; it's all the other ways you are so very orderly and structured that sends my head spinning! it certainly is a gift!

Abby,
You are so funny. All areas were very strong except the "J", believe it or not. I do thrive when things are organized, but I also enjoy spontaneity. I am free-spirited in some areas, if you could believe it. Funny thing, my man is exactly opposite except in the "dreamer" category. Yikes, two dreamers trying to walk through like together! Our life is always an adventure!

As an ENTJ, I am giddy right along with you!

Of course you're not crazy! :) I wish my pantry looked like that. Maybe I'll tackle that this next month.

I have 3 friends who are ENFJs. They are so much fun. I wish you lived close to me. I'm guessing we'd get along really well. :)

My dh is my polar opposite. All four letters! Most of the time we balance each other really well. The rest of the time we're ready to strangle each other, LOL.

I can't believe what a difference it has made in my life to understand the personality styles of those around me. It gives me such an appreciation for each person's strengths rather than thinking that someone should function the same way as I do.
