Celebrating Jack's 14rth birthday!

He had a really fun day at an obstacle ropes and zip line course with two friends.  It was such a perfect way to celebrate with a teenager.  Then we went out for pizza.  With family, we had a big breakfast and night out for burgers with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  I hope this amazing boy knows how much we all love him and what a gift from God he is!

Art hallway=happy place

This is our new hall art gallery.  I am in love!  I treasure the kids' artwork, especially the art made together from our homeschooling days.  This hallway is one of my happy places in our house now!  I know it looks home-made and it's full of imperfections, but it's like family history and good memories displayed in front of my eyes every day.  Happy!

Our night away was close to perfect.  I enjoyed the gardens, good books, and my camera.  And Andy loved his time on the water.  And in between, it was just us.  What a fabulous, quiet, beautiful time away!
