Budding artist

Lydie's kindergarten class studied community helpers last month.  Andy was one of the speakers and talked about farming.  He decided at the last minute not to take a chicken (a wise decision, I think), but he did take each child a little lettuce plant.  The kids and teachers really enjoyed his talk.

Last week, on the final day of the unit, the children had to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up.  Both Lydie and her two best buddies all dressed up as artists.  She had a really hard time deciding between a doctor and an artist. She is quite creative...the sky's the limit for this girl!
