Meeting some moms and kids at the park today. Third day in a row to see my new, sweet friend- Laura Beth. God is slowing mending my bruised heart with this encouragement. Praying for Him to help me "Set my gaze directly forward". Asking for the grace today to not look to the left or right, or much worse...backward, and be ALL HERE in this new place. Trusting that He lead us here and will give us answers for where to be involved, new friends, and ministries in peoples' lives. Trusting, trusting.

I've read your blog for a LONG time, but almost never post. I saw the post you deleted now (above this one) and it has been on my heart ALL day!
I am so sad that happened, but impressed with how you handled it! You are a great, Godly mother!
I am not a mother, but I would've probably burst into tears on the spot!
The girls I anny go to a small Christian Montessori (brith-9th grade) school and while I pray something like that never happens, I know, in a fallen world, it could.
Wow. I'm praying for you guys!
p.s. I LOVE the tour of your new home! We have similar style! I bought my first home in September and have slowly been renovating it- how do you move so FAST?!
